Vinit Nair, the Principal Investigator for PRACnet is a healthcare research professional. He brings more than 20 years of experience working with federal and state entities such as the US Food & Drug Administration (US-FDA), Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), Reagan-Udall Foundation, Foundation for the National Institutes of Health, private research organizations, policy think tanks and universities.
Vinit’s area of expertise is in creating systems, teams and organizations to conduct and provide scalable healthcare research spanning drugs, devices, biotech and pragmatic trials. These systems interact utilizing the latest digital tools and infrastructure architecture including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning that build off on the principles of advancing health outcomes research. Vinit’s passion is using the transformative power of blending advanced technologies from various industries to build a sustainable and efficient healthcare system that provides the best possible outcomes to patients.
Vinit has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and serves as reviewer and board member for several research & editorial boards, stakeholder panels and steering committees. He has a Masters focused on Pharmacoepidemiology from University of Illinois @ Chicago and a Bachelors from MGR Medical University, India.
