SATYENDER GOEL
Dr. Satyender Goel is a health informatics researcher and data scientist with 15+ years of experience in building National and State level integrated health data ecosystems for improving patient outcomes. During his full-time faculty tenure at Northwestern Medical School, he has served as PI/CO-I/Informatics lead on several multi-stakeholder federal projects funded by PCORI, CMS, CDC, HHS, and NSF. He played key role in numerous pioneered healthcare informatics infrastructural projects in Chicago including CAPriCORN, HepCCATT, ILPQC, etc.
Dr. Goel is known for his contribution to anonymous data linkage field and have several patents and publications in peer reviewed International journals. He has founded/co-founded two healthcare start-ups and two health policy and advocacy non-profits. He is the Senior Director of Research & Innovation at Collibra and serves as an adjunct professor at Northwestern University and lecturer at the University of Chicago. He serves on the board of several healthcare start-up in US and abroad.
Satyender has completed a certificate program “Business for Scientists” from Kellogg school of management, Northwestern University; possess PhD in Chemistry from University of Central Florida and did MSc in chem-informatics from The University of Manchester, UK.
